June’s Newsletter!

Hi everyone! Happy June!!!

We’ve had a ton of rain here in Southern Vermont, and the woods and fields and gardens are all lush green. We have a robin nesting in our cherry tree, and wrens, thrushes and all sorts of other little birds in the trees in our back yard. We added a little pond last year, and the birds love it! Bunny the studio dog has been up to her usual antics, asking to go outside a million times a day to look for cats and squirrels and chipmunks.

We had a really nice time at the Massachusetts Sheep and Woolcraft Fair, where I made friends with three very friendly rams. Made me wish I didn’t live in town so that I could have some sheep! If you didn’t make it this year but you’re local to the area, I very much recommend it! Next year is their 50th Anniversary, and I will most likely be there too!

July’s LYS Club colors are posted, and here they are:

Shops will have until the end of June to place their orders for these colors, so if contact your local LYS if you’d like to purchase any of these colors! For a list of our shops click HERE.

In Fan Club, we’re continuing our experiments dyeing next year’s Featured pooling/striping colorways in the watercolor method! This month we did Apache Trout, Watermelon Tourmaline and Little Blue Butterfly! Any of our LYSs can order these for you. Here they are:

Remember, Mystery Bundles are always on sale (25% off) at www.roundmountainfibers.com/sale. Select the type of mystery bundle you want (colorways, semisolids, or a combination of the two), select your base, and you’ll see a popup before checkout that allows you to specify which collection you want or don’t want, which colors you want or don’t want, etc. We have something for everyone!

And that’s the news from Round Mountain Fibers!

Sincerely,
Monica MacNeille
